Water-DROP invited to ENI CBC MED meeting with Italian Authorities in Rome, Italy

On 27th October 2016, Water-DROP project coordination team, Filippo Moretti and Lorenza Daroda, were invited to present project results and activites in the Italian success stories section of the meeting held in the Italian Foreign affairs and International Cooperation headquarters, in Rome with ENI CBC MED Joint Managaing Authority, following the adoption of the ENI CBC Mediterranean Sea Basin Programme by the European Commission and in view of the launch of the first Call for proposals for standard projects. Objectives The meeting, devoted to the national institutions that will be involved in the promotion, implementation and monitoring of the ENI CBC MED Basin Programme, aims to:Analyze the Italian participation in the Programme 2007-2013;Present in detail the new 2014-2020 Programme (strategic framework, project type, geographical eligibility, main implementing projects implementation rules); Share the outline of the process of mobilization of Italian actors, particularly with regard to advocacy and communication;  Evoke the resulting responsibilities of the management and control system. The ultimate goal of this meeting, and of the other meetings organized in all participating countries, is to create a network of institutions able to support and assist the smooth implementation of the Programme. The Italian success stories section had following presentations:
