
Water-DROP project was invited to the Conference and Technical Workshop of the Project STS-Med “Small scale thermal solar district units for Mediterranean communities“.Co-funded by the ENPI-CBC Med Programme (http://www.enpicbcmed.eu), the Project STS-Med (http://www.stsmed.eu) focuses on the development, implementation and diffusion of pioneering concentrating solar technologies for distributed energy production in Mediterranean countries.The project is implemented by 14 organisations from Cyprus, Egypt, France, Greece, Italy and Jordan bringing together a wide range of technical, institutional and business expertise.ENEA, the Italian National Agency for New Technologies, Energy and Sustainable Economic Development, will host in its headquarters in Rome the project Conference and Technical Workshop, focused on project achievements on the construction of four pilot plants in Cyprus, Egypt, Jordan and Italy and on Concentrating Solar Power in the Mediterranean.
