Water-drop partners have attended a meeting with local authorities of Balqa Governorate, Jordan for the presentation of Water-Drop project major results and for the graduation of technicians trained for GIS-Geographical Information System in spetember 2015, by Water-Drop partners in the Balqa region.As shown in the pictures, technicians that graduated were all women of Al Balqa region.
At this purpose, Water-drop ENEA coordinator, Filippo Moretti, and communication manager, Lorenza Daroda, have participated to the round table at Balqa Governorate headquarters in the presence of relevant stakeholders, local Community Based Organisations (CBO) and municipalities.
Other Water-DROP partners present at the graduation, Halieus, University of Cyprus and CNRS Lebanon, have also been invited to visit local beneficiaries of the pilot site actions of the Water-Drop project; in Jordan, the beneficies choosen are targeted communities of the Balqa governorate consisting in 5 public schools and 20 private houses to benefit from the pilot actions of Water-DROP project. The visit continued in beneficiaries' homes and in the local schools that had installed Water-DROP wells.
